I met Kya last October 2025, when my husband, was about to be discharged from Siskin. She came into our room, after giving me a call, and we discussed options about going home, with a care giver, which I hadn't thought about.
She was so informative about VA benefits, that I was unaware existed. She contacted the VA for us, and I received a call the next morning (unheard of if you've ever dealt with the VA) saying James did qualify for in home care. It was a smooth process, and care began the week we arrived home.
I asked Kya how much do I owe you for being my advisor, and guiding me on this journey, we had never experienced. When she told me absolutely nothing....I thought, this is to good to be true, but she meant it, and We never paid her one thing.
Fast forward, to present time, we are in a more difficult season in my husband's health journey, and once again, I reached out to Kya on a Saturday, (via email), thinking it would most likely be Monday before I received a response. Sunday morning, I had an email, and she mentioned from now on to call, and I would get a quicker response. I shared with her what we were currently facing, and she went to work. Making suggestions, setting appointments to meet with folks that could be of help.
Kya has a wealth of information for seniors, all VA benefits, hospice care..:and what makes her so special, she cares. She has a heart for her work! I could go on and on, but I feel like Kya was a God send to me and my husband, and I highly recommend her for your loved ones needs.

Outstanding help. My family was at a loss with how to get my mother in law placed in senior assisted living and wasn’t given much time to make arrangements. We found out about Front Porch Senior Advisors and called the owner, Kya. She started working immediately to give us as many options as possible for care and living options. She was available to answer all our questions. To say Kya went above and beyond navigating our senior living questions, is an understatement. Kya is amazing! My mother broke her hip and we only had three days to find her a place. We called Front Porch Senior Advisors and had a place for my mom by Friday. Kya took a horrible situation that I didn’t know how to navigate and made it so easy! She always had answers for our questions -day or night. I cannot recommend Kya with Front Porch Senior Advisors enough!

Kya has been invaluable in finding the perfect assisted living placement for my aging dad. She listened to his needs and my concerns, and she was extremely compassionate, prompt, and willing to go above and beyond to find the perfect fit for my dad. Her knowledge of senior living care is extensive and I learned so much about the levels of care and various facilities just from speaking with her a handful of times.
