About Kya Groves – Your Senior Living Placement Advisor

Choosing the right senior living community is one of the biggest decisions a family will make.
It requires someone who truly understands the industry, knows the communities, and genuinely cares about families’ outcomes.

My Story & Mission

For Kya, helping seniors and their families is more than a profession — it’s deeply personal.

Her passion for senior care was shaped in part by her own family’s experience, including watching her grandmother navigate assisted living. That journey gave Kya firsthand insight into the emotions, questions, and challenges families often face when trying to make the best decisions for someone they love. It also helped shape her commitment to making that process feel less overwhelming and more supported for others.

With more than 10 years of experience in senior living support, Kya has worked closely with families across many aspects of care, including in-home care, veterans benefits, independent living, assisted living, and memory care. Over the years, she has developed a strong understanding of both the practical and emotional sides of senior transitions — helping families not only understand their options, but feel confident in the choices they make.

Kya believes this work is about far more than placement. It’s about listening well, understanding what truly matters to each family, and helping seniors find the right level of care, dignity, and quality of life.

That combination of personal passion, professional experience, and connection to a wide variety of local resources allows Kya to guide families with both heart and expertise.

Whether someone is planning ahead, facing a sudden health change, or simply unsure where to start, Kya’s goal is simple: to provide trusted guidance, meaningful support, and compassionate care every step of the way.

My Approach to Placement

It Starts With Listening

I ask questions – lots of them. But more importantly, I listen to your answers. I’m trying to understand not just the practical logistics of your situation, but what matters deeply to you and your family.

I Lead With Transparency

You’ll always know my thinking. If I recommend a community, I’ll tell you why – and I’ll also tell you the trade-offs. I want you making informed decisions.

I Respect Your Timeline

Some families need placement quickly. Others are planning 6–12 months ahead. Either way, I work at your pace. There’s no pressure from me – only support.

I Stay Involved Through Transition

Placement isn’t done when you sign a lease. I stay involved through the move-in process and even beyond to make sure you are settling in well.

Communities I work with regularly: Chattanooga, Hixson, Ooltewah, Signal Mountain, Cleveland, Collegedale, Fort Oglethorpe, North Shore, Sequatchie Valley, and Ringgold, GA.

Let’s Connect

You don’t have to figure this out alone. Whether you’re just starting to think about senior living placement or you’re ready to move within the next month.
I’m here to help. No obligation, no pressure.
